Editorial use is generally defined as use made for descriptive or illustrative purposes in a newsworthy context or of human interest. On Rozstock, such content is labeled as “Editorial Use Only” and it is not cleared for commercial use. There are no exceptions to this restriction, so even religious, educational, and nonprofit organizations must respect this important guidance.
When you search Rozstock’s library, Image and Video results show both editorial and non-editorial content by default. To narrow the results, use the filters and select Only editorial or Non editorial in the Usage section.
Editorial assets are sold with two license options: Digital License (websites, apps, and social media) and All Media License (digital plus print and broadcast). Both licenses remain editorial-only and never authorize advertising or commercial promotion.
Browse editorial images and videos from the Editorial section in navigation, or filter search results to editorial-only. Pricing follows the same tier structure as commercial content, with Digital and All Media options available for purchase.
Editorial content is generally available for use only in non-commercial ways (news stories, magazine articles, documentaries, and similar). Printing editorial images and using them for other commercial or business purposes is not permitted. In some cases Rozstock may be able to work with the contributor and any rights holders to acquire commercial use rights; contact support if you need that review.
